CANCELLED DUE TO CORONA VIRUS

This afternoon session (1.45 - 4.15pm) will cover: 

  • Social Media and the law
  • What the Code of Conduct says
  • Social media as a community engagement tool
  • Using Facebook - a Clerks experience
  • Personal and public profiles

Liz Howlett, solicitor will introduce the session. 

Jo Wills, Chinnor Parish Council will present on their Council's use of Facebook and how it has changed the way their council engages with the community.

Liz Howlett will then do a session on the legal framework governing social media use and what the Code of Conduct says about it; also looking at personal/public profiles

There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and to learn from the experience of others.
