Breakthrough Communications, in partnership with NALC, is providing free support and confidential advice to parish and town councils in the key areas of communication and compliance.

This new service has been made available in recognition of the challenges parish and town councils continue to face when it comes to creating communication on challenging issues and coping with compliance in terms of data protection, Freedom of Information (FOI) and Subject Access Requests, alongside the busy day job.

Breakthrough Communications will be providing free, confidential advice and support, helping council staff cope with matters such as crisis communication, community consultations and engagement, and dealing with press, media and social media.

Parish and town councils in Oxfordshire can access this service by contacting OALC in the first instance to obtain a referral. Please email your request to info@oalc.org.uk and we will share the necessary next steps on how to access the service.
