Christian Vincent from WorkNest will be leading a session about what responsibilities town and parish councils have as an employer. Even the smallest parish council which employs a part-time clerk needs to ensure it is complying with the law.
The session will include information on managing people who work from home and conducting appraisals, as well as other relevant topics, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions, intended to deepen knowledge of employment matters.
This hour long session is open to all clerks, officers who manage staff and councillors.
